“It’s time for the PM to answer to why the planes were sold at such an inflated costs? Is it no longer true that as per UPA negotiated label, the worth of 1 plane used to be Rs 526.1 crores whereas under NDA, the plane is costing Rs 1570 crores? Why used to be transfer of technology for HAL no longer insisted? And finally, has the joint endeavor between Dassault and Reliance Defence been cleared by the Union Cupboard?” requested the Congress leader.

Declaring the joint endeavor between Reliance Defence and Dassault used to be between two non-public entities and the authorities didn’t beget a characteristic, Reliance Defence said, “Authorities coverage issued on 24 June 2016 permits for forty 9% FDI in the Defence Sector under the automatic route, with none prior approval. No approvals from the Union Cupboard or CCS were required for the formation of the aforesaid Joint Conducting firm under the automatic route.”
